What a time...what a time...what a time had by all who attended Core's Second Anniversary celebration this past weekend. More that a hundred people turned out for the festivities, dispite the rain. There was plenty of food, fun, games, and music. From the Electric Slide to the Cuban Shuffle...we got down with the funky sound. I particularly enjoyed the water balloon contest, being that I and my partner, Sonya, were the only ones left standing at the end of the game. The egg toss was too messy for me to get involved with. We also had some unwanted guests to show up....the 50 or so geese that continued to hang around with their months open for food. (I guess we were on their turf). Many prizes were given away during several raffles. I didn't win anything, but I kept hope alive. At the end of the day, we gathered our tired bodies, hugged each other, and departed the park, looking forward to next year's event. WAY TO GO CORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
